The 17th Takaki Summer Festival was held at Takaki elementary school which is located near Takagi Dormitory on Saturday, August 19.
8 organizations offered drink and food opening their stands from 5:00 p.m. in the great weather. Some performances were performed at the gymnasium and this festival finished at 8:30 p.m. with fireworks.
Students and staffs made Vietnamese “fried spring roll” and Nepalese steamed dumpling, ”Momo” in the kitchen of Takagi Dormitory where Vietnamese and Nepalese students stay. They were sold out after 7:00 p.m. because they were tasty and also rare for Japanese guests since it was the first time to open stands in this festival.
At the gymnasium, Nepalese 1st year students, Mr. Tamang Iman and Ms. Nepali Sabina performed their dance. The audiences enjoyed it. Please watch the below URL if you want to see the video.
